What we collect
When you upload a tenancy agreement, we process the file to generate your review. We collect the file content, your email address (if provided), and basic usage data such as the document type and review status.
How we use your data
Your uploaded file is processed securely to generate a tenancy agreement review. The file content is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for analysis. Anthropic's API does not use submitted data to train their models. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
Data retention
Review-only uploads are automatically deleted after 7 days. If you save a report to your account, the structured report data is retained but the original uploaded file and full extracted text are not kept by default. You can delete all data associated with a review at any time using the "Delete everything" option.
Security
All uploaded files are stored in private storage buckets and are never publicly accessible. Access tokens are stored as cryptographic hashes. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.
Your rights
You can request deletion of all your data at any time by using the delete controls in the application or by contacting us. Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal information.
